Good News - USA TO CANADA
    « on: December 10, 2009, 10:01:54 AM »

    Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of importing a used 2008 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG from Tampa Bay, Florida to my home in Woodbridge, Ontario.

I'm saving about $30,000 in doing so.  I was searching the net for a company that would help me import it, and do all the paperwork.  After searching, and contacting some of the companies out there, I found the most knowledgable company was www.importtrader.com - These guys really know their stuff.

I've recommended this company to my friends and family and I'd like to share this thread with everyone here as well.  I have been dealing with Marcus; He's really making this easy for me to do.

Check them out if you are importing a vehicle from the States.  Also, some companies will buy the car for you, and do a 'half ass' import. - I've heard stories, but apparently importtrader.com specializes in just the import! so basically you can shop for your car anywhere and contact them with all the info to bring it to your location here in Canada.
